I am not sure whether posting that is a good idea... having it at six on six at avery is nice enough but out on the web is kind of a different league...

Nothing will happen, but that doesn't matter. I think that the image is pretty harmless and that Bernard enjoyed himself immensely on that evening (as we all did obviously :-) ), so I think that he is personally fine with it. But I am always VERY careful with making images public showing people in a way in which they might not like to see themselves published. If there is just the off - chance that one of the depicted might be offended I rather ask than run the chance of embarrassing someone I had the privilege to take a picture of. For me this is one of the responsibilities that I have as a photographer against those whom I take pictures of and who trust in me not to abuse that. I might go a bit far in my position to rather not publish but in this case I rather err on the side of politeness and caution. That is also the case if somebody asks me not to take pictures of them, which is in my eyes mostly vanity or wrongly understood modesty (if I thought of the person not as pretty or interesting I would not ask whether I could take a picture). So even if I think that the person might be wrong in not wanting to be in my images I try my best not to have them in my images. And as a closing remark I want to say that I am glad that it is not one of my images being used here because then I would have insisted that it be removed - I think the photograph of this image has not been asked whether it can be used, which was maybe ok with the six on six (it sort of stayed in the family) but which I think is not ok here.
It would be surely interesting to hear the take of others on this and it would be even more nice if I would know with whom I am talking.
